Do you know what today was? 8 weeks until San Diego Comic-Con. Which makes it appropriate that there's been a palpable change in the Comic-Con world this week - a different, more intense energy in the form of more announcements, exclusives and events.
Which means it's time to start posting daily (well, mostly daily) summaries. Today's will be short.
Someone in San Diego has a cockamamie idea about solving the convention center expansion/Chargers stadium conundrum by building George Lucas's dream museum. "Perhaps the Star Wars creator and the NFL can come together for a common goal." Yeah, maybe.
Marvel wants YOU, SDCC cosplayers. If you'll be hanging around San Diego between 17-19 July, and you'll be dressed as a specific Marvel character, please email Judy at cosplay@marvel.com.
Diamond announced their 2016 SDCC exclusives. Funko's Swamp Thing supposedly has a "distinctive scent" which is intriguing, but it's the plush Joker you'll want to squeeze anxiously while watching The Killing Joke.
The Wynonna Earp cast announced on Twitter they'll be at SDCC.
NECA will be taking pre-orders for these Arcade-inspired Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
