If you're important enough that you might be nominated for an Eisner this year, you'll want to know this: the six people who will be ruthlessly judging you have been selected. You can see their mugshots and descriptions here.
It's kind of crazy that I've been immersed in San Diego Comic-Con all these years and never knew the Eisner panel was so small. I thought it was some large and shadowy organization like the Academy Award judges. But apparently I was only half-right; these 6 judges select the nominees in April and then "professionals in the comic book industry" will vote on them.
The deadline for submitting nominations: 17 March. CCI will share the guidelines in January.
