Friday events

19 JULY 2013

Kristen Bauer (Pam from True Blood) is even more beautiful in person. And very sweet.

If you're just emerging from your Hall H daze, you might not have any idea of what's going on tonight. There's quite a lot, actually.

The Walking Dead Escape still isn't sold out. So if you have a spare $20-75 in your pocket, head over to Petco Park.

If you don't have any money: try the Adult Swim Fun House in the Petco parking lot, the Godzilla Encounter at 7th and J, or Dracula's Tomb by Tin Fish. All free.

The Thrilling Adventure Hour is at 7:00 pm & 9:30pm at Horton Grand Theatre at 444 4th Ave for $25.

The Veronica Mars Fan Event is at 7:00 pm at the Horton Plaza Regal Cinema.

Animation Under The Sea Party runs from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm at Joe’s Crab Shack at 525 E Harbor Dr.

The Comic-Con Nerd-a-Thon, Night 1 (Concert & Burlesque Show) is at 8:00 pm at The Ruby Room at 1271 University Ave - Geek Rock (Nerf Herder, Kirby Krackle & H2Awesome) with a Comic Vixens Burlesque Show -  $20.

I've been waiting all my Comic-Con life for two girls to dress up like The Shining twins.

Hollywood Babble-On featuring Ralph Garman and Kevin Smith returns to House of Blues at 11:00 pm. 1055 Fifth Avenue - $20+

The Metallica Concert - when and where? It should be announced after 6. Check Twitter or their fan page.

Help save dogs on death row at the Petco Star Wars Yappy Hour at the Hotel Indigo from 4:00 - 7:00. Supposedly E! is doing something also with shelter puppies tonight but I don't know what.

FilmCon is from 6-10 pm at Space 4 Art at 325 15th Street between J and K.

Geek and Sundry's Community party is tonight at Jolt and Joe's at 379 4th Avenue.

Freaks and Geeks Party is at 8:00 pm at Taste & Thirst  4th Ave. Free
.

Of course there are the Eisners, the film festival, Hall H replays and other free events around the convention center. So take a disco nap and head out and do something,
